Claude can now work directly inside Microsoft Excel — building formulas, detecting errors, and summarizing data in seconds.

Step 1. Open Microsoft AppSource
Open your browser and go to Microsoft AppSource.
In the search bar type:

You will see the official Claude add-in for Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft may ask you to sign in first. Use the same Microsoft account you normally use for Excel.
Step 2. Install Claude Into Excel
After clicking Get it now, Microsoft will automatically connect the add-in to your Office account.
Open Microsoft Excel.
At the top menu look for:
Add-ins or My Add-ins
Click there.
You will see Claude in the list. Click it once and a side panel will open on the right side of your workbook.
This is where Claude will work with you.
Step 3. Sign In to Your Claude Account

Sign in with your Anthropic Claude account.
